Elizabeth O’Malley, RD, LDN
Dietitian Program Director
Elizabeth O’Malley is a licensed, registered dietitian with ten years of experience in weight management counseling. She received her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition with honors from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She has previously worked for a family physician counseling patients regarding nutritional management of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Elizabeth has also worked in corporate wellness where she helped to educate employees on healthy lifestyle modification with nutritional presentations, individual counseling, and cooking demonstrations. Elizabeth is passionate about helping people achieve a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys working with people to develop an individualized weight management program.
In addition to her professional license, Elizabeth holds a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association. Elizabeth has served as the President of the Illinois Dietetic Association as well as their Public Policy Coordinator. Elizabeth is a member of the American Dietetic Association and the ADA Weight Management and Diabetes Care and Education Practice Groups.
Charlie Goehl, M.Ed.,

The author of several published articles on teaching and coaching, Professor Goehl has given numerous presentations related to best practices in teaching and coaching at local, state, national and international conferences. In the past four years, he has received funding from several agencies to support his research and teaching interests. Professor Goehl has a background as head baseball and football coach at Elmhurst College and teaches Sports Skills, Coaching Theory, and Personal Health. He leads workshops on personal health-related topics, including nutrition, and also works as a personal trainer.
